The Bark'n For Bacon brand first came about in 2006 making collars initially for ourselves then close friends and relatives. From there it grew with the demand from friends of friends wanting collars to our first calls from shops wanting to stock our products. It seemed anyone who seen one wanted one! Rachel built our online store in 2008 and the business continued to steadily grow from there.
I (Levi) first started making my own collars in 1998 as a 13 year old boy for myself. "It would take me all weekend to hand stitch a collar out of leather and dirty old fire hose". As an older teenager I purchased several brands of plates, which all had their advantages and disadvantages but was never completely happy with any of the designs. It was at that point I put some serious thought into designing a plate that for me is perfect.
Since then Bark'n For Bacon has become one of Australia most trusted names in pig hunting supplies, producing exceptional quality Aussie made plates each one individually hand made with the same pride and attention as the one before, making our brand one that has fast become the product of choice for many hunters over Australia.
